Emily Genther

Emily Genther has been involved in the equestrian community for the last 20 years as a working student, groom, horse owner, and competitor. Emily has experience in Hunter/Jumpers, Eventing, and Dressage. She has participated on the Intercollegiate Dressage team at her local community college. Emily has lived in Ocala for over 20 years and has served her community as a law enforcement officer for 4 years, leaving in December of 2020 to become an ER Trauma Nurse and works at a local hospital as an ER nurse (and hopes she does not see any of you). Emily recently had to say goodbye to her once in a lifetime horse, but hopes to find a new special partner to continue on her passion for horses.

Renee Genther

Renee Genther has been involved in the equestrian community for most of her life as a horse owner, competitor and horse farm owner. As an avid FEI dressage rider she wanted a treat that would be regarded as an award but with benefits to help her equine partner stay healthy and hydrated. As an Oncology Nurse Practitioner full-time, she is cognizant of the health and well-being of the horses in her care. She has lived in Ocala for over 20 years, dedicated herself to her patients in our community and also serves the Army Reserves Nurse Corp. She and her horse, Hector Interagro, are in full-time training and working towards showing at the Grand Prix Level in Dressage.

Medical Director

Dr. Varney is an equine veterinarian with special interests in sports medicine and lameness with a focus on regenerative medicine therapies. She is an FEI Veterinary Delegate and Treating Veterinarian. A rider since childhood, currently Dr. Varney also competes at the FEI level in dressage. She has received her USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold medals and is currently competing at Grand Prix.
